I chose this website to write about in this topic because the videos it allows people to see include sounds and video. It is also a great portal for advertisement. like the side advertisements which you do not see often. Or maybe channels that distributors actually publish their videos on. Before watching a video on Youtube there is also an advert which is mandatory to see at least 5-10 seconds of it.
I also like this website because of it's success and the ability to post your own work to the outside world.

Here is some examples of some advertising.
In this image you can see the advert highlighted in red.

This is on at the bottom of the watched videos a couple of seconds in and stays there unless closed.
· Animation for output to videotape or streaming web movies.
· Single-user games/quizzes for distribution on interactive learning and testing materials for distribution over the web or on CD.
· Software product tutorials.
· Presentations, training materials or interactive touchscreen kiosks that provide instant information for exhibition visitors.
I also like this website because it is simple, and it is very easy to search for objects that you are looking for. It is a very user-friendly site.
Another website that I want to talk about is www.facebook.com because it is a highly successful website. It allows you to find out a lot about people, also allows you to interact with people using the internet, and it has a wide selection of "Facebook games" to play.
Many of these games are simple point and click, or mouse and keyboard and often times are just keyboard controlled.

Today we went out in different groups and searched through magazines to find CD ROMS to generalize what sort of CD's are normally found in Magazines.
Xbox 360 Magazine.
Includes free disk with 2 game Demos.
Rayman Origins and Tropic.
Magazine includes reviews on films and game + new products.
This magazine involves interactivity in it's free product by including game demos. Using a console and remote.
Classic rock.
Free CD - The best of Joe.
Magazine includes -
Genesis 1967-75. Interview with every member.
Has inside stories on the years biggest S albums.
This is not so much interaction but merely reading a music article with a band. Many people who appeal to this sort of thing will enjoy this sort of interaction.
Health and Fitness Magazine.
Free Pilates DVD for every reader and a chocolate bar. ( Oxymoron)
Magazine includes how to get your best body.
"First steps to a fit, slim, You!"
What a diet Guru eats.
This includes an interactive DVD that allows people to exercise with the video. It allows the reader to use this to essentially copy the movements that the actors or trainers are doing.
From what that I have seen with the CD's and other "Freebies" that are found in magazines is that they don't often stray far from the theme of the paper. This is obviously so they can get the attention of the buyer and find that 'free stuff' is a great and successful way to catch buyer attention.
